Claut is a small village rising in the nature reserve Parco delle Dolomiti Friulane and included in the territory of the Dolomites inscribed by UNESCO on the World Heritage List in 2009. The place is a favorite destination for all those interested in geology and nature, since here, in the area of Casera Casavento, were found dinosaur tracks dating back to the Late Triassic, about 215 million years ago.
&You find many other fossils not far from Casera Casavento, passed the hamlet of Lesis, near the Cellina stream.
